Tour to Argentina

Our typical tour to Argentina would cover the wine areas of Patagonia, Salta and Mendoza and culminate with some days in Buenos Aires. Departure would be on Thursday from the US and return on the following week Sunday.
A variation to that can be to do only Buenos Aires, Mendoza and then cross the Andes by Bus and arrive in Santiago de Chile and do the wine region around Santiago.
Both these variations would start at around 5500 per person

Why visit Argentina?

Wine

Argentinean Malbec is drunk and renown all over the world, but Argentina is not all Mendoza, Patagonia and Salta make great Malbecs, too and Argentina is not all Malbec. Excellent Torrontes for white, and great Bonarda, Cabernet Franc, Tempranillos, Petit Verdot and Tannat, round out the offer of Argentinean wines.

The country and it's geography

Argentina is an amazing country to visit. With an area 5 times the size of Texas, Argentina is among the largest countries in the world, and with that has an impressive geography.

Buenos Aires

The capital city of the country is often called the Paris of the South, but it is much better than that. Great Cultural offerings, people and foods from all over the world, a great climate year round, and a culture of enjoying the life in latin style and a price level at a fraction of Paris, make this city one of the greatest cities in the world to visit and even live in.

The Meat

Several studies indicate that the single biggest advantage of Argentinean beef is the free roaming of the cattle and the natural diet of grass the cattle gets in Argentina. Here the romantic view of cowboys sitting around a fire and sleeping under a stary night is reality and it seems to have a positive effect on the cattle, which is almost consistently the most tastiest and softest beef world wide, aside from Akaushi and other specialized breeding techniques.
